new work: matt panayides / tapestries of song

had the recent pleasure of doing an album layout for matt panayides, who is an up and coming jazz guitarist out of jersey city. i've had the chance to see his group perform a couple of times at the lower level art gallery (RIP) and the avenue bistro in clifton. definitely worth checking out if you get a chance.

ran into a few initial snags after the manufacturer sent me a file which i thought was a template, but it was actually just a PDF with the dimensions and not at full-size. so i finished the layout and sent it out for print, only to find out that it was at a reduced resolution. something i should have checked probably, but any layouts like this i've done in the past have just been included with a full-size template. but i was able to salvage some of the original artwork. other parts i had to re-do, which sucked. but it's finally done and out for production.
